Dr. Will Adams

PhD, MBA

Dr. Adams serves patients with a variety of needs, including anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal and family relationships, leadership development, academic and career guidance, parenting, and sports and performance psychology. His goal in working with clients is not only to address immediate concerns but also to provide strategies for long-term growth, resilience, and overall well-being. He works with individuals seeking support in navigating challenges, enhancing relationships, and achieving peak performance in both personal and professional settings.

Dr. Adams earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Southern Methodist University, followed by an MBA and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Memphis. He has extensive professional experience in the behavioral health field, having served as Director, Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Clinical Services, and Vice President of Operations at Strategic Behavioral Health. In addition, he worked as a Staff Psychologist at the University of Memphis, where he provided direct clinical services.

In 2021, Dr. Adams founded Adams Psychology, PLLC, where he integrates his leadership background and clinical expertise to provide individualized, evidence-based care. He is an active member of the APA Division 47: Society for Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology, the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, the Tennessee Psychological Association, and the Memphis Area Psychological Association, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and community engagement. Dr. Adams also holds certification with the PSYPACT Commission for Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT™), allowing him to serve clients across multiple states via telehealth.
